Abena: Kente-Inspired AirPods Max Case pays tribute to Ghana’s rich cultural heritage. The name ‘Abena’ means ‘born on Tuesday’, reflecting the day the case design was created.
Inspired by the vibrant and intricate Kente cloth, this case design dates back to the 12th century when the Ashanti people of Ghana first wove it. Legend has it that two Ashanti weavers were inspired by a spider’s web to create the first Kente cloth. Over time, it became a symbol of Ghanaian culture and identity, often worn by kings and important figures during ceremonies.
Each pattern and colour combination in Kente cloth holds specific meanings. For instance, the Adwinasa pattern, with its zigzagging line, represents perseverance, while the Aban pattern, with its stylised diamond shape, represents wealth and prosperity.

RETURNS
Submit any claims for faulty, defective, or damaged items to Maseso within 30 days of receipt. Pack the items. For parcels lost in transit, submit claims within 30 days from the delivery date. Orders deemed our fault are covered at our expense.
The default return address is our third-party facility. We’ll email you when we receive a returned shipment. Unclaimed returns are donated to charity after 14 days. If you don’t use the third-party facility as the accurate return address provided, you’re liable for any returned shipments and expenses.
CASES OF RETURNED SHIPMENTS
- Wrong Address: If you provide an incorrect, inaccurate, false, or insufficient address, the shipment will be returned to us. We’re not responsible for the address. You’ll be liable for reshipment costs once we confirm an updated address.
- Unclaimed: Unclaimed shipments are returned to our facility, and you’re liable for the cost of reshipping to yourself.
- Returned by Customer: We recommend advising customers to contact us before returning products. If dissatisfied, we can either provide a refund or accept a return. We don’t accept returns for incorrect sizes, colours, or changes of mind. Return policies are at our discretion, and you’re responsible for replacement charges.
- EU consumers, notice: Article 16(c) of the Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights prohibits the right of withdrawal for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. These goods may also be sealed for health or hygiene reasons. Maseso reserves the right to refuse such returns at its discretion. This policy is governed by English law, regardless of translations.
Before submitting a claim, please note our warranty only covers defects in materials or craftsmanship. It doesn’t cover orders placed over 365 days old final sale clearance items or typical wear and tear damage such as yellowing scratches dents and so on.
Warranty-covered products will be replaced or exchanged for a product of equal value.
